Stuart Chalmers is a UK artist utilising cassette tapes, decay, a whole host of effects, and improvisation to make murmured soundscapes mired in as much darkness as beauty. This week he’s recorded an exclusive improvised live session for us using the Swarmandel, effects and tape manipulations with which he recently recorded the stellar The Heart of Wilderness for Was ist Das.
