Spool’s Out Radio #100: Noel Meek

Noel Meek is a New Zealand musician, journalist, label runner, traveller, ethnomusicologist…. and dancer. For the 100th episode of Spool’s Out, I jumped on skype and spoke to Noel halfway around the world from his home in Wellington, to talk about making noise with Richard Youngs, exploring music in Indonesia, dancing butoh, the myth of Flying Nun, and the improvised Gaelic psalms of northern Scotland.
